We have 21 people committed to go to the trip and have received deposits from 16 of them! We have a possible 6 others that will decide by Friday!
Fundraisers
Soup Supper Saturday:

Cheryl Gilg is the point person for this event.
We will provide soup and desserts for the dinner. We decided to use the church bowls and spoons and we clean them to save funds. You can contact Cheryl Gilg at cherylgilg@mchsi.com or cell# 515-681-3339 (if there is a better # please advise Cheryl!) for a sign-up and to help out that evening! We will need some folks to help set up at 5:30 and clean-up afterward. We would like to have as many of the people that are going attend! I have left over lemonade from the dinner last year. I will apply for $300 in matching funds from Thrivent!
Bake Sale Sunday:
May 20th at GDLC.

Donations
Our balance is approximately $4900. We received $1000 from Dustin Blythe from Trye Blythe's memorial fund! Thank you Dustin! I know he would love to go but he has a special delivery on the way in June!
Our plans for donations will follow last year in that we used it towards our last Payments. To cover everyones last payment we will need approx $8400.00
Passports
If you don't have one get one soon! With the new travel restrictions they are very busy! You can apply at the downtown or Urbandale Post Office. Photos available at the post office, Target or Walgreens.
Immunizations
Contact Polk County Heath at 515-286-3798 for current info on what is recommended. http://www.polkcountyiowa.gov/health/ I know for me it was Typhoid, Hepatitis and up to date Tetanus. Also you can get Malaria pills. It is also recommended that you get a prescription for Travelers Illness. (Cipro or levaquin are the most common)
