Action Items to review
A group from Gloria Dei headed by Norma Rohn will be making quilts for us to take on our trip. I have also been contacted by a Valley Church in West Des Moines to take their quilts down. I have advised we could take them (10-15 quilts)
Meds- We have talked to Deann Hass-McCue about having a vitamin drive for the midweek classes. The class that brings the highest total will receive a pizza party. Tammy and Hillary Pierson will head up getting the word out and talk to Deann.
WE HAVE A GOAL TO RAISE 45,000 VITAMINS!

Vending Machine has been donated and Pastor Tim and I stocked it. The initial cost was $375 to purchase the items on Feb 7th. So far I have taken out $115 to be deposited back into the Honduras acct. There is a sign on the machine that all profits go to the mission.
Soup Supper on Feb 10th-we raised $796.65. Thanks to everyone who helped out and Cheryl and Joe Gilg for setting up and coordinating everything.
Thrivent has approved $300 in matching funds for the fundraisers. We will submit the request for funds after the May Bake Sale.
Next Fundraiser is May 20th. We will have a bake sale. Please bake some items and package them for sale. Last time we had request for Coffee cake. Also breakfast items go very quickly. Please bring the items prior to 7:45 service or leave them in the Kitchen and put a note on them they are for the Honduras bake Sale.
Payments and Information Due:
Our next payment is April 24th for $630.00 Please make checks out to Gloria Dei and put Honduras mission trip on the memo line. GDLC will send one check. I also need to have your PASSPORT NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE# and email.
Our last payment is due June 15th for approximately $700 depending on fuel charges.
I will also need your completed packets for information on June 1st- I will get the info out
We have 28 people going!
Wheelbarrows. I have asked about buying new wheelbarrows for the concrete floor ministry. Last year we kind of damaged some of them. The cost to replace them is $50. Luis also said they need 10x10 and 10x12 tarps. They could also use some 55 gallon drums. They run $10-15 each.
T-Shirts
I have looked into a T-shirt for everyone to wear on the way to Honduras. It would be blue with the US and Honduras Flags on the front and 2007 mission trip on the front. The back would have everyone’s first name and the caption “Joyfully Obeying the Great Commission” I would also like to put God Bless You in Spanish “Dios te Bendiga” I need to verify that this is correct. The cost is approximately $12.00 per person. If anyone does not want to buy a shirt please let me know.
New Items
Thanks to Mark Pierson we have a contact for Lice shampoo.We may be able to get 3 or 4 pallets worth. We would have to repack it and pick it up. We would probably need a couple trucks or vans. Once we repack them we will need to have them sent to Humble TX for transport to Honduras. I will contact Steve Razor at WGO to see how much they need. If we are able to get this we will take the lice shampoo off the needs list.
Michelle Rice will have 500-600 worship bracelets to take to Honduras

Cheryl was able to purchase an English and Spanish Bible. The verses are right next to each other in both languages. The cost is $35 see Cheryl Gilg for more information!
Passports/Shots make sure you are starting the process on these! We leave in 3 months!
